A basic individual tax return will be a minimum of $165 incl. GST. For more complex returns, such as rental properties, Capital Gains Tax, partnerships and businesses, please contact your DMK Accountant for a price.
As a tax client of DMK Taxation & Business Solutions, we will have access to your information on the ATO Portal which will allow us to pre-fill your tax return with employment income, Centrelink income, HECS/HELP/SFSS debt balances, bank interest, dividends and some superannuation details. You will need to provide any evidence of deductions, please refer to this form for what to bring. Please use this form.
Please also provide your bank account details that you would like the tax refund paid to, if applicable.
It generally takes up to ten business days after lodging your return to receive your refund electronically. Some people may have to wait a bit longer for the ATO to process their refund.
No. We do not have the ability to deduct the fee of preparing and lodging your return directly from your tax refund. You will need to pay for the preparation of your return prior to it being lodged.
Depending upon the complexity of your return, we have an approximate turn around time of 1-2 weeks for it to be completed.

Changing accountants is common for various reasons, and whatever the reason you should not feel uncomfortable or feel the need to make excuses. The process of changing accountants is quite simple once the decision has been made. The new accountant will send an ‘ethical letter’ to the previous firm to ensure there are no reasons why they should not accept the new engagement. To begin the process contact us via phone or email and we will contact your previous accountant on your behalf.
