About Us
Who we are and why we're different
DMK are a team of accountants, financial advisers, bookkeepers and support staff who take pride in creating and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients, whilst delivering a professional and personalised service. We genuinely want to get to know our clients and understand their needs and objectives.

Our main office is located 150 kms north-east of Melbourne in the small country town of Alexandra. We offer a wide range of services to a variety of clients around Australia and abroad. We have a special interest in agri-business accounting and pride ourselves in staying up to date with new legislation to provide our clients with the best service possible. We have an appetite for continual development and the use of new technologies to assist our clients in managing their financial affairs and to improve efficiencies. Working with our clients, we aim to educate and share our knowledge to build on their confidence and understanding of their financial situation.
Just as our clients are important to us, so is our community. We support many community organisations and our staff are active participants within local community groups.
Our History
DMK was established in 2002 when the accounting practice of H.E. Willamson & Co was acquired. This was a sole practitioner practice with a bookkeeper/receptionist.
Soon after, another accounting practice, DMK Bookkeeping Services, was acquired. This was another sole practitioner practice with a graduate accountant and part-time receptionist.
Both practices were effectively merged to form DMK Taxation & Business Solutions. On 1 July 2003, the practice was relocated to 5/46 Downey Street, Alexandra, where we remain today.
In 2004 the financial planning firm was established. DMK Financial Services offers a wide range of financial planning services and compliments the accounting practice to provide our clients with holistic financial, accounting and taxation services.
Since then, we have expanded our office space and consistently employ between 6-8 staff members. We also have a secondary office based in Geelong, Victoria. Our staff travel to various locations throughout Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia to meet face-to-face with clients. We are also able to offer all our services online while maintaining our personal and professional relationships with our clients.
